The  AutoKink AL609P  is  failing  to linking with   Japanese and South African  Toyota and  Mitsubishi  imported  vehicles  but its working  fine with on Isuzu and Chevrolet vehicles. It gives following message :
    Fail to connect:
-Verify that the ignition  is On.
-Check if the scan tool's OBDII connector is securely connected to the vehicle's DLC
-Verify  that the vehicle  is  OBDII complaint.
-Turn the Ignition off, wait for about 10 seconds and turn the ignition back to on.
    .
I tried it on several different  vehicles   like Toyota Prado year 2013,Toyota  Wish of year 2007 ,Toyota Spacio  of year 2002,  Honda fit 2009 and Mitsubhishi challenger 1999. and its failing  to link.
Is it my machine which is faulty or the protocols on these vehicles are not supported ?
